Our Roots

Our Chamber began in 1915 as the Board of Trade and incorporated in 1922 as the Chamber of Commerce. We have a long-standing legacy of community initiatives throughout our 100 year history.   The Chamber has expanded over the years to become the county's official Visitors Center and include the county's Tourism Marketing and Promotion office, Visit Indian River County.  We also host the county's Economic Development Organization (EDO), established to assist in business relocation and expansion.  Together we create a Chamber who serves our members, our guests and our expanding business community.
